Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Crypto Tax wants its site and service to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility adjustments that have been made, the known limitations, and how to reach us about accessibility, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

Accessibility level

  • The target is Israeli Standard SI 5568 Part 1 at level AA, which is based on the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The site has not yet had a full external accessibility audit, so it may not meet every requirement.
  • Testing so far: automated checks against the WCAG 2.0 level A and AA rules on the main pages, in Hebrew and in English, and checks of using the site with a keyboard alone. The site has not yet been tested with screen readers or with users with disabilities.

Accessibility adjustments made

  • The site works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator. Every page starts with a "skip to content" link. Dialogs keep the keyboard focus inside them, close with the Escape key and return focus to the button that opened them.
  • Pages are built with headings and labelled navigation regions that screen readers recognize, and tables are marked up as tables. Every form field has a label, required fields say so in words, and hints and error messages are linked to the field they concern.
  • Status and error messages are announced to screen readers without moving the focus, error messages stay on screen until dismissed, and moving between pages in the app is announced. A link that opens a new tab says so.
  • Colors are chosen for readable contrast, and contrast is checked on an ongoing basis. Links inside text are underlined rather than marked by color alone. The site offers a light and a dark theme.
  • Full support for Hebrew (right to left) and English (left to right), including correct direction for numbers and amounts inside Hebrew text. Every page declares its language, so a screen reader reads it in the right one.
  • Every chart in the app comes with a data table for screen readers.
  • Animations are reduced when your system asks for reduced motion, and the layout adapts to phones, tablets and text enlargement.

Accessibility settings

  • The "Accessibility settings" button is in the site's top bar, in the app's side menu and at the bottom of the page. It lets you enlarge text up to 150%, turn on high contrast, highlight links, switch to a readable font with wider spacing, and stop animations.
  • Your settings are saved in a cookie in the browser where you chose them, and are used only to display the site. They add to the site's own accessibility adjustments and do not replace them.

Known limitations

  • The Form 1399 appendix and the downloadable PDF reports reproduce the layout of the official form, and may not be fully readable by a screen reader. The same figures are available in the app and in the CSV export.
  • The payment form is provided by Morning (Green Invoice), and its accessibility is under Morning's responsibility.
  • The sample chart on the home page is an illustration only, and is described to screen readers by the caption under it.
  • Images in blog articles are described by alternative text entered when the article is edited. If you find an image without a description, please let us know.
